By using shanshenbudance.com ("the site", "we") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. You sign in with your Google account; keep access to its email address, because it is how you get back into your account.
What the service does
You upload photos and choose from the options the site offers (effect, length, quality, format and so on). We send the photos and a text description written by us to an AI video model, ByteDance Seedance 2.0, through our API providers, and deliver the generated video to your account. You can't enter your own prompt. Videos are created by AI and may contain mistakes or artifacts.
Photos you may upload
- For Shan Shen Bu: Photos of yourself, or of adults who agreed to have their photo used for this.
- For Shan Shen Bu: Never anyone under 18, and no public figures or celebrities.
- For Shan Shen Bu Cat & Dog: Photos of your own cat or dog only, one pet per photo.
- For Shan Shen Bu Cat & Dog: No people in the photo: no selfies, no friends, no children, no public figures.
- No nudity, violence or other content listed in our acceptable use policy. Every photo passes an automatic content-safety check and the model's own safety filters, and either can block a video.
You confirm you have the right to use every photo you upload, and we record when you confirmed it.
Credits
Some new accounts get 8 free credits once, enough for a 4-second 480p preview (the generator shows whether yours will, before you sign in). Videos use credits: the generator shows how many before you start, based on the length, quality and options you pick. Credits are taken when a video starts and returned automatically if it fails. Credit packs: $6.99 for 50 credits, $19.90 for 160 credits, $49.90 for 450 credits, $99.00 for 1000 credits. Credits never expire, have no cash value, can't be transferred except with a gift link, and are lost if you delete your account.
Buying just one video
When you don't have enough credits for a video you can pay for exactly that video. The payment adds the credits the video needs and starts it.
Subscriptions
Plans: 150 credits a month for $14.90 a month, or 1800 credits a year for $149.00 a year; 320 credits a month for $29.90 a month, or 3840 credits a year for $299.00 a year. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and adds its credits each time it is paid. You can cancel any time from My videos; it then ends at the end of the period you paid for, and you keep your credits.
Gifts
You can turn at least 5 of your credits into a gift link, or buy a pack as a gift. Anyone signed in who opens the link first gets the credits. Until it is claimed you can take it back. Keep links private: we can't return credits claimed by someone you shared the link with.
Payment
Prices are shown in US dollars before checkout, and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Our Merchant of Record, Waffo Pancake, processes payments and may show its name on your card statement. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
Content rules
You may not use the service to create sexual or NSFW content, violent or gory content, hate speech, anything that sexualises or endangers children, deepfakes that impersonate or mislead, or content that infringes someone else's rights. The full list, how we check uploads and how to report a video is in our acceptable use policy, which is part of these terms.
AI-generated content
Every video is generated by AI and is not a real recording. When you share a video, label it as AI-generated where the platform asks for it.
Your videos
You may use the videos you generate for personal and social media use. Each video is newly generated from your photos; it does not contain the original clip of any meme or its audio. If you add music when posting, you are responsible for using it within the platform's rules.
No affiliation
The site is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, Know Your Meme, ByteDance or the creators of the original Shan Shen Bu, Shan Shen Bu Cat & Dog clips. Meme names are used only to describe the style of video we make.
If you break these terms
We may block videos, delete the photos and videos concerned, and close the account. You are responsible for the photos you upload and for how you use and share the videos, and you agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that third parties bring against us because of that use.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available"; see the disclaimer. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Changes
We may update these terms and prices. The date at the top shows the latest version; prices you already paid don't change, and a change to a subscription's price applies from its next renewal after we tell you.
